Northwest Members - e-brake cable route?

On the drivers side does the ebrake cable go between the phb and he axle or complete around behind it? It doesnt go on the inside near the spring right? Where it routes from the wheel back around up over the axle. It wants to rest against the axle on a corner and I'm not sure thats a great idea.

wow, thats what I'm talking about. So it does go right in there by the spring. I was trying to route it to the outside of the phb.

Yeah, the spring won't compress enough to pinch it in there. You'll hit the bump stop first.
