Default Throttle body bypass..

does anyone know exactly what is needed to conect the 2 coolant hoses...
i just went to home depot, but the brass barbed i picked up was to big
so does anyone know the size and ect..so i could go in there and ask a worker for whatever i need..already got the clamps...well thanks for the help

Default by-pass

all you need to do is buy a lenght of 3/8 5/16 hose 2' and run it in 1 piece, thats what i did . good luck.

does the hose have 2 different hole sizes...one end has 3/8 and the other end has 5/16?
cause i called places and they only have one size hose...

Just buy a 5/16" hose about 2.5 feet long. I did 2.5 so that the hose would have no possibility of interfering with the belts, just had it run along the radiator hose and then turn at the second hole. One size is good for both holes. It will be a tight fit on the radiator hole, but as long as you get enough on there to put on a worm clamp you're good.

It wouldn't hurt to stick a rubber cap on them...it will keep trash out in the event you want to reverse it later.

Old post but, any answer on what size connector? I dont want to run a single hose. Also does it matter if it is brass? Only $2.00 at home depot. The BMR one is aluminum I think; any benefit?
