Default 402 or 414?
I am looking to build a bigger cube engine real soon. I was wondering what would be better. I am going for a setup that would be more streetable but be able to go the track and run good times. Should I build a 402 with a new 6.0 iron block or buy a MTI 6.0 block that has been bored .060. The reason I mention the MTI block is I can buy it for a really good price, thats the only reason I am considering it. And if I do what kind of problems could I be looking at with it bored that much? I also want to be able to use nitrous every once in a while. Thanks for the help.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of the 414. What kind of problems could i run into with it being bored .060?

414ci... bigger bore = more high-rpm HP.

Do like me and build one bad 408....it's only 30 over and can take alot of jusice with not as much stress as the bigger bore...motor in sig

I was also thinking of a 408. How much nitrous could those pistons handle.

Mine was built for a 300 shot....Ive never used n20, the motor right now should go 10's N/A...
