Default identifying head milling

is there a dead giveaway to knowing whether or not a set of heads were milled such as tooling marks or other visual markings?

i have 317 heads to lower my compression and i don't want to have to CC them with a buret if there is some easy way to visually identify they have or haven't been milled.

most up-to-date shops can duplicate the cbn finish on a set of untouched gm heads, so ur best bet to to get them mic'd

My heads had the amount of milling stamped onto the non-contact part of the gasket surface.

Measure deck height and substract from original.
You can PM Tony Mamo or Gunnar, they have the original measurements.
