Default Vanity Plates on a TA in Houston area..."MTI WS 6"......anyone know him??

Left the house last night at abolut 9:30pm to get a frosty from the local Wendy's. When I left Wendy's there was a '98-'02? TA at the light next to me.....the light turned green and the car sat there.....I looked over and a girl looks at me and says "can you give me a jump?" Apparently, she had stalled the car at the light and the battery was dead so it wouldn't start. I got out and pushed that m'fer about 100 ft to a driveway and then gave her a jump (the car). Beautiful car with a H/C package on Nitto 555's.

She mentioned that the car was her boyfriends and that he was out riding his sport bike and that he would be really pissed if he knew that she was driving it at night.

This morning, the first thing I see on the news is that some poor bastard high sided a gixxer on the Beltway/290 on ramp......hit the wall and then flew over the side 75ft to his death. All I could think about was that girl telling me about her boyfriend on his bike.

Any of you guys know who owns this car?? Hopefully, he's still alive and he won't kill his girlfriend when/if he reads this.

Steve has a Harley, she probably just didn't know what to call it. He just got the car about 3 weeks ago, been having battery issues due to the big stereo system and underdrive pulley.

No problem Steve, glad I could help. I would want someone to do the same for my wife.....and yes, she stalls my car too. Anyway, that's a beaituful ride chief. That paint really caught my eye....then the plates. I was going to send MTI an invoice for the "barefooted push" had their been a mechanical problem

the ones on Steve's car actually say MTI WS 7

It used to be a 7-liter. The previous owner kept the 427 and put a cam-only setup in the car, then sold it.

with an underdrive pully, you need to juice up the alternator to put out more amps at lower RPM. That will solve your power problems and let you keep your stereo setup and battery from dying too soon.

maybe...but if his alternator needs to put out more juice for his sound system than the alternator can put out with the slightly larger pulley, a higher output alternator is needed.
