My car seems to have these fits latley and they have been getting worse. when i am running down the highway my car will all of a sudden start to jerk and studder like it is running out of fuel. It will do this a few times and then stop. Also when i slow down for a stop light or when i am in a parking lot it will have these same symptoms and then die. I have replaced the plugs and fuel filter. Any other ideas i am taking it to a garage on friday but i figured i would ask. Oh and my fuel pump seems to be priming. But could it be in the stages of going out ? The fuel filter was really bad when i changed it so i thought i had it fixed..... anyway if you have any ideas i greatly appreciate it.

check your injectors....and just because the pump is priming doesnt mean it is functioning properly....are you throwing any codes?

Might be worth it to check fuel pressure as well.
