Default Removing Cruise Control

Does anyone have any before/after pics of this being done? I absolutely hate that black box over the valve cover. I read some how-to articles on cz28.com and it seems like I'll have to order a cable from a non-asr/cruise car. Just wondering if it's worth it. My cruise control doesn't work anyways..

Take the black box off, disconnect the cable and unbolt, unplug the cruise box and take if off no problem. Mines gone

You did that without touching your regular throttle cable? So buying a new cable is just for completely cleaning it up?

black box on top of VC is Traction control, not cruise.
if you remove the TC 'box' then you will need a non-TC throttle cable. Dealer has them and not too expensive.

The cruise control box is located down where the air box is behind the plastic.
