Couldn't you weld the chambers? Or would they still be way to much overkill for the motor? Just seeing what you thought.

Only if you dont mind the intake valve hitting the wall of the cylinder.

So would the new great deal be a Alu. LS2(I don't know the bore) block w/ l92 heads?
Are the valves too heavy in the L92 heads to rev to high RPMs?

We start assembling an LS2 402 for my C5 this weekend. We have all the parts now.

SPDC LS2 402 2cc pistons
L92 heads
L76 Intake
Comp 921's
Bret Bauer cam spec'd for this setup
Rams Dual disc clutch
American Racing 1 7/8 headers
42 lb Green Top injectors
Revised LS7 lifters
etc
etc
etc
Assembly/Installation and SD tune by Phil Thomas aka PHIL99VETTE

Not cheap to do it right but should be very interesting.
