Default g5x1, pump/timing chain needed?
so i went with a g5x1 cam, 228/232 .588 .574 114lsa cam...

will this cam require the use of a ported ls6 oil pump and upgraded timing chain?

or just 918 springs, and hardened pushrods?

Yes on both because you have a 98.
But LS2 chain and LS6 pump (unported) enough.
