this is not normal for this type of weather to start this early. if anything its been staying warmer longer these past several years.

My car is sleeping quietly in my garage all nice and cozy...the benefit of having a 4 bay garage with ten foot ceilings...had to rub it in pat...sorry... :jest:
can't let that 26 hours of swirl removing/waxing/detailing sit out in the weather

Winter is our racing weather down here in South Texas. It snowed here about 3 years ago for the first time in like 60 years! Our winters usually have the temperature in the 60's during the day and at night, in the 50's! Perfect dragracing weather!!! I can't wait for those cold fronts!!!

can't wait for the cold weather here in florida either, I'm above the freeze line for the first time in two years, so I'll actually see temperatures lower than 70 in the winter :jest:
I miss Buffalo, I haven't been there in almost 3 years! Before college I spent every summer up there working for my family's HVAC business.

My car has no idea what snow is...but unfortunately our summers subject our cars to 100+ weather on almost a daily basis.

I feel bad for the B-lo guys...that is some crazy snow for this early. Here in Rochester (only an hour away) we only saw 1" on the west side of the city....none on the east. It was melted by 9am friday morning and sunny/dry for the rest of the day.
In any event, we all know its coming :)

GO BULLS!!! UB alumni here. Can't say that I miss the snow (or losing every football game). But that was a crazy time.....used to love watching people getting blown over in the snow and wind in that wind tunnel they call North Campus.

for all the guys who say quit crying..... the MAJORITY of WNY is out of power. we were running low on water, and it looks like a hurricane came thru with the amount of trees that are down, due to heavy snow. thursday night was like the war of the worlds. ALLLLL night transistors outside were blowing up. i kept hearing power surges, and the sky kept glowing bright green, pink, red, ect like we were getting bombed. tons of destruction up here. those without generators are pretty screwed right now. my dads business was outa luck fri, and its looking the same for tomaro. every day a business has its doors closed costs alotttta $$$$$. and it looks like its gona be another wk before some people get power back. its pretty bad!

Yeah, talk about differences in weather, I work in Rochester and took the Camaro to work Thursday figuring it would be the last good day to drive it before the snow hit on friday, left work at 11:30pm, not a drop of anything in Rochester. Got to Brockport and the power was out, kept heading west to get home and a mile outside of b-port looked like a tornado hit, slush snow and branches all over the road and my biggest fear....snow plows dumping salt all over the damn road, now my car is covered. Went to put the winter car back on the road on friday but the DMV in Albion didn't have power so I was stuck driving the Z all weekend, time to break out my snowmobile I guess.

I think that some area's of Buffalo actually saw closer to 2' of it! Normal occurance for winter, but not when half of the leaves on the trees are still green :)

where i live was the the edge of the storm, yet suffering all the negative effects. its been green here and looks outside to be as any normal fall day. on friday, however, we had over a ft of snow and it looked like a tornado hit. not even a mile south of me, didnt even get touched. further north, i know of people who got hit with over 2'. ive seen pictures, and it looks like the worst winter has to bring. rediculous.
