Question Were can I find a LT4 intake??

I am looking for a LT4 Intake for my 97 camaro Z28. Plus if I do get the LT4 Intake do I need LT4 heads too or will it fit on the regular LT1 heads????

The LT4 intake is NOT an upgrade, and if you modify it to fit LT1 heads you completely lose any potential it could have had. The LT4 heads are a poor choice for a 350 used at rpms the GM computer can handle.

The ports and plenum are near identical to some of the LT1 intakes size and location, the difference is more material to seal to the TALLER LT4 head ports this extra materila will hit the valvecover rail on unmodified LT1 heads. That extra material would allow it to be port matched to LT4 heads but if you machine that off to fit LT1 heads you lose every benifit it could have had.

I am extremely disappointed to see 4 people answered before me and none of the rest of them told you how bad a plan you were hatching.

My dad just bought a whole LT4 engine out of a 96 grand sport for as much as just the intake goes for on ebay. Granted, the engine was in katrina and needs an entire rebuild, but thats why it is in peices in our garage already. It will look nice in a 32 ford, and because its rare, it has that wow factor.

Now back on topic, just have the stock ported and powdercoat it. Eportworks.com can do it. I believe that is the website.

Dude, why don't you move off of here, go to your perfect world, and let us who like to play with stuff, or have an idea/honest question do our thing.
Just an input to what some of us are probably thinking..

he's trying to save someone money and helping them spend is where it counts... not let him waste it on a manifold thats not going to give him a significant hp/tq gain with a 350

That's where most of would tell him, not insult him or others for asking and answering a question..we were looking at the fact that someone got it for cheap.
I guess we're not good enough..

Words don't do **** on a computer, I'll be the first to admit it. I am just throwing some truth out there. I am here like most people to throw ideas out and get some info, and help some other people, not to insult for not knowing something, asking a question, or giving and answer.

I don't know why people dog on it, LT4 is just GM's big setup at the time. I like being the underdog, that way I go over expectations. Alot of guys here have fast setups, but they don't go at all. I have something simple, and it moves for what it is.

No ****, I am happy with my LT4 setup. I know I can get a lot more out of it with a cam swap. I mean I spent $250 when I bought my intake. I wanted it, I bought it.. if it gave me any gains or it did'nt I don't care. I bought it just to have it. My LT4 is just gasket matched so I know by getting a damn good port job I will get my moneys worth. I don't think it was a mistake getting my intake.

Quick Reply: Were can I find a LT4 intake??
