Default Lt1 Cam Bearings Help Please

Anybody know if there any issues with the front cam bearings on a LT1? I have a very low mile OEM crate motor that has bearing wear on first journal. It is only on the top. Cam and everything else is perfect. I changes all but was just curious if it is common problem????

I know thats the bearing that goes when people cam high milage lt1s and start spinning them up to 6700k, so i would assume their would be a premature wear problem.

I've read it is common for LT1 engines because of the extra load imposed on the front bearing by the waterpump drive.

Thanks and that sounds like a reasonable explanation. It is actually not easy to see as it was only on the say 10 o'clock to maybe 12 o'clock position on the bearing the remainder were perfect.

Now's a good time to convert to electric, because it's only going to come back.
