What's the 1/4 mile record for NA LSx F-Bodies? I looked in the timeslip database and it shows CAMN HAWK @ 8.9... has anyone managed to beat this yet?

I think camnhawk went 8.xx with a 427 w2w c5r setup.. but I could be wrong.

CAMN went 8.95 or 8.96 on motor with C5R heads. For a stock headed car, I think that would be Judson at 9.17 or Matt346ls1 at 9.2x.

Don't worry. Andre has a crack team in Wade and the Autoworx crew. They have been there and done everything and they only build winners!!! That run as or like bracket cars. I am sure right now they are figuring out a payment..oopps I mean gameplan in which Andre will rule the world!!! Race for money??? Why that isn't very sporting?? This is all for fun and comaraderi isn't it?? Kinda like high school sports!! There is no need to compare Andre to the rest of the world. At ARE/autoworx you are above everyone else!! No need to be concerned about other people...according to them if you have enough money then you have John Force covered!!!!!! Just look at their OSCA customers and there is your proof.

Well VM1500, Is there any validity to Sled28's statements? I am curious to your opinion. I am not sure if these statements are correct. In all fairness to you and the crew at Autoworx you did go from 10.2 last season to 9.28 this season. That is a nice improvment. I just don't know if the dollars spent justify the gains seen? If you are happy that is really all that counts. Selling all your stuff is puzzling? Maybe Sled is right? To start all over again is big coin. Thats why I haven't switched back to injection. Just not worth the money for me. Maybe next season you can finally beat Dave's old time of 9.11 and maybe even run 8's. You never know what the future holds??? :eek2: What is the latest? Going Warhawk or something?? Cool!! I am staying "old school".

havent really had a lot of time to play with the car, but there is definately more left in the setup.hopefully others will push the envelope and motivate me to attack it more.

Trapped 154.80 mph though LOL. Would have been nice to throw a glide in there and blow out an 8.80 but that is too much shoulda, woulda, coulda.


The new motor though goes back on the dyno next week ;)

so you really think a glide would be faster than a jerico. Do you run a hydralic clutch setup on your jerico. How about some pics?

why would you think a Jericho (Road Race tranny) with a clutch would ever be faster then a Glide or rossler th400?

Our hardest problem was that we never ran the car with a 2 step and could never cut a good sixty foot. Either wasted the tires or bogged.

Now we have an all new BMR suspension and two step. Should be a different beast when we get back to the track. Like I said, we ran that time almost two years ago while wieghing 32XX lbs.


I do not have too many pics of the car here at home, but I can throw some up when I get to work tomorrow.

I am guessing you have a h pattern shifter. But I thought that a good manual tranny would be faster than a auto. They are also alot lighter. Maybe I am wrong but dont some racing classes have a weight penaltys for racing manuals meaning they are faster I would think.

Yeah, that is more like liberties and what not. And yes, this is an H-gate 4 speed jericho. Nothing like a clutchless setup or anything.

I am going to run their dr4 setup in the spring after I get some good passes with the th400. I will keep the auto shit just incase it is better
