Default Seafoam bad?

I am scared of this stuff. How does it interact with the oil/bearings/ect? Would it provide proper protection for all this stuff? Putting stuff in my oil that is not lubrication relation worries the hell out of me.

Nice...I was hoping for some technical answers, not testimonials, which seems to be all I can find using the search feature. ALso wondering if it could stop up an oil pickup screen.

The stuff is a lot thinner than oil is plus it is made up of VOCs. There is no way Seafoam would stop up an oil pickup.

By using the search function, I was able to find a whole lot of testimonials from which I could gather enough info to know if it's safe.

I see you're thinking that it will dislodge enough deposits to clog the filter. I have never heard of that, and can't see your engine being THAT different from the rest of the engines in the world. But that being said, it is recommended that you change your oil after running the Seafoam in it for a week just to be safe.
