I got drug by a Stang Well decided to have some fun tonight and went out racing with some buddys. Raced a Cobra from a 20 and the wheels were spinning like a ****. Freaken tires (Regular street tires that I bought used) i cant wait. Ill be getting the MT's soon. Ohhh and the cobra beat me by half a car despite that i spun all through 1st I was at his bumper and kind of hooked in 2nd @ about 60 then ended up getting into 3rd after having to let the RPMs climb down due to the messed up slave cylinder and bent shif forks. Oh this guy was supposedly running 460 something in HP on 8 psi of boost. Im just a 403 hp car. Love those LSx. I might have gotten drug but i started at the tail lights and ended at the door. Its all good ill get some tires and a new tranny. Just wondering if people in LSX get Cobras that make more hp than them??

Yea, quite frequently. My My car only Dynoed at 390 hp and 410tq. Most of the cobras I have beat have had at least 430hp at the wheel. The best one was a 510hp 04 Cobra, the guy had the dyno sheet 2 prove it. (He's a friend of a friend). Anyways, Beat him by half a car length, Super close and I'm N/A. I was sweatin bullets cause at the time I still haven't loss 2 cobra. The guy was not a great driver cause he was stick and my friend told me he wasn't known 2 be the best. But still 500+horses is still a **** load. More than a 100hp than me. Maximo, R u stick or Auto? Cause that can make a big difference. Because I got 2 friends who are both stick and 1 dynoed his 02 SS at 420HP and only got his q-mile to 12.5 at best, and another who dynoed at 360HP with the Z06 Cam and got his 98 Bird to a 12.2 q-mile. Driver will make a big difference in stick race.

/\/\ Ohh im a M6. The freaken tranny is messed up. Guess this really motivates me to fix it now. I just thought he should have put at least a car on me. But I was comming up due to the 3 gear not going in. I takes about a sec. But yeah you do win some and you lose some.

get it fixed man, i let mine go for quite awhile and finally got it rebuilt, one of the best feelings dude..pm i know a guy that will do a good rebuild on it for a pretty fair price..
