Default yes another headlight prob please help

I bought the metal gear and finally tried to put it in this weekend. I finally got it in and realized the gear was fine without me changing it. It seems the grey wire that plugs into the connector had the the little metal piece broken off inside the connector which is whiy it had no power. This is where it plugs into the white connector harness. How do I go about fixing this end to make it work and get power to the motor. I am no electician or real mechanic either. Please make a suggestion to help my situation. Thanks in advance.

You could find the wire that matches on the other side of the connector and pull it out, then just bypass the connector itself. Get some push together crimp on butt connections and just connect the wires that way, leaving the rest still in the connectors.
