Default Lsx cyl heads

Ok I decided to go with a Lsx motor again in my street rod project, here's my thoughts.

6.0 block
bore 4.040
4.125 stroke
should make a 420
250/258 @.50 640 lift,might go a little smaller.

what I am wondering about is heads,go 6.0's ported,Ls6 ported,AFR's.What works best.

I would go with ETP, Trick flow 225's or Afr 225's. All of them have good flow numbers with consist results over 500rwhp. Are you going to be running forced induction or nitrous?

It will be a n/a set-up put with a little nitrous for fun.I don't really want to build a nitrous supported engine,it wont be raced, just a very bad street motor.

I have looked at AFR's,ported 6.0's,will Ls7 heads fit a 6.0 block.I haven't played with these Lsx engines that much so this is a new challenge.

The 2.20 valved original GM Corvette ZO6 427 Ls7 heads fit 4.100 '' bore and up Lsx's . It will take larger sleeves to fit these

ETP makes a small bore Ls7 head 250cc 2.125'' int 1.600'' exh valves to fit 4.000'' bores
They are a little stepper in price than standard Lsx heads but your are able to use the superior Ls7 composite intake manifold -also the best composite manifold made to date ,but can only be run if you use ls7 style heads and its under $500 complete .

The ls7 heads are more by them selfs but the intakes cheaper than a fast90 so its around the same $,$$$.

Sounds very similar to my motor:
6.0 iron block
4.125 stroke
tsp giant cam (a little smaller than yours)
edelbrock 245 heads
and all the other boltons made 482 rwhp
