Default Big block Ford question

I thought I had a 460 with iron D0VE-C Cobra Jet heads, but the pistons have 429 cast into the sides..so does this mean it's a 429? I've never touched a Ford engine before this one, so maybe somebody can shed some light it for me. The reason I'm asking is that I've got a guy wanting to buy it, so if it's worth more than just a regular old 460 I'd like to get a little more out of it.

460 and 429 share a lot of parts.

It's been a LONG time since I had a 429 (a 70 SCJ in an F150) but I believe the 460 and 429 share the same bore size, just a different rod length. Again, it's from memory ...

The 460 pistons had a helluva dish, while the 429s just had valve reliefs ...
