What is a CAM CARD?

What is a CAM CARD? I just bought a TR 224/224 .563/.563 112lsa. The guy I bought the cam from didn't have a cam card, and i bought it anyway. What exactly will a cam card do for me?

I bought mine without one. However, mine had some of the specs from TSP scratched on the end of it.
Should be able to tune without it. They're just good to have so that you know the full specs.

Like mentioned before it will give you the cam specs. For an example I included the cam card for my F14 to show you what one looks like.
