Default Runnin at the strip thurs

So I am headed to the local drag strip this thurs and my cousin will be there with his Mustang GT. He has slightly more horses than me, maybe a difference of 10 or 15. Can I beat him with my setup. Ive got an auto 2000 Z with free ram air, pacesetter lts, catted y, borla cat back. Also im workin with the stock 273 gears and he has a stick shift so hes pretty much gonna burn me off the line right. But can I catch him?

what mods does he have that gives him more hp then you ?

unless he has some sticky tires that he can drop the clutch from a decent rpm, he probably isnt going to burn you off the line

If its a Mustang GT and not a Cobra you shouldnt have a problem. Even if he gets ahead off the line, you should run him down with the LS1 like he is on the brakes...
