Default 1053 forged crank

Has anyone heard of a 1053 forged crank for an LT1. I saw one on ebay. But wasnt sure about it.

It is probably out of a SBC. As long as it is a 1 piece rear main seal, they are interchangeable like all other SBC/LT1 internals.

what about the balancing. Are lt1s internally or externally balanced?

They are all internally balanced. Only the 400 SBC was externally balanced. 87+ Small Blocks (including LT1s) are internally balanced regardless of what people tell you about the weight attached to the flywheel on manual cars. Someone convinced me otherwise once and it cost me a 500$ flywheel.

sorry for robbing the post, but so does that mean if i buy a crank for my car or what not it will already be balance since its internally balanced? or willi need to take it and get t done? thanks
