I am thinking about getting a 99-2000 camaro ss a4 3.23 rear. My brother has a 02 trans am ws6 a4 3.23. How big of a difference is there in speed. Also what year camaro did the ls1 have smaller injectors. I believe it was 99 but I am not sure. I do want to stay away from that year. But let me know the difference. Thanks, Jared

If you don't plan to mod, then I would go 01-02. If you plan to mod I don't think it matters which one you get. The smaller injectors hurt past 430hp, but isn't a problem otherwise IMO. I haven't dynoed yet with the LS6 intake, but with lid, Mid lengths, ORY and Exhaust I put down 349hp and 355tq (before nitrous). I am hoping to be at 365-370 once I get it on the dyno with the LS6 intake. But not bad numbers for it being an Auto.

I have a 99 A4 3:23 Z28.
