Oil recommendations for 2003 Tahoe 5.3L? Use a thicker oil like the M1 5w-40 or GC 0w-30 recommended for the LS1? Or is a thinner oil like M1 5w-30 better?

the Gc 0W30 is thebest hands down, you just have to find some of it. I have been running royal purple 10W40 and I am loving it. I also have high miles, and it is not using any oil compared to the M1 I was using.
