Default Can't get over 130 mph, but I did go 10.54 @129.75

10.54 @ 129.75 1.587 60' 15psi street tune runs, mix of 100 and 91 + meth. Went 6.758 @ 103.9 in the 1/8th. Launches were on 10psi. The 2.75 gears seem to work pretty good. Finally had a good weather day, temps were low 60's, DA was 2700-3000' during the night.

Forgot the tuning cable so I couldn't up the timing The car will go 130+ dammit! I know I can bump the timing 3-4 degrees with the octane I was running, car usually picks up 2-3 mph when I do that. Max timing was 16 degrees.

Car was also losing power and detonating over 6000 rpms again, fastest times were shifting at 5800-6000 rpms, the power drop is very noticable after 6k, just dies.

Best 60' of the night was a 1.575. Later in the night I tried turning up the boost, saw 18psi on the gage but the car ran the same. Looks like my turbo is just too small for my motor size. I'm going to optimize my exhaust a little which should pick up another 20 rwhp, then later upgrade to a midframe gt47-88.

I'm pretty darn happy with the car. Runs were on 275/17 front tires, 26x11.5x16 ET streets in the back on a 8" wheel. I should probably invest in some skinnies.

nice run Jeremy! Trapping that fast in a street car is pretty impressive considering the track/location and no skinnies.

I know the feeling, I'm stuck at 129.88. Hopefully the YSi will push me past that. With that 104 in the eighth you should definitely be able to go 130, maybe closer to 135. Keep trying.

Tried that, went to 18psi, car trapped the same and et'd the same. 3psi more and it made zero difference

I don't know if going from the .70 to the .81 housing really gained me much. The car still only makes power to 6000 and still is not responsive to more boost. Backpressure gets real high after 5500 rpms.

Jose said they have a a PT88 with a gt47-88 cartridge, spools about 500 rpms faster than a regular PT88 and is the same size as my current turbo, $2000 I'm pretty sure I can fit a big turbo under the back since my T76 is not very small and it sit's high up. I have LOTS of clearance to the ground. I know someone in town with a large frame 88, might ask him to let me borrow it just to see how it would fit.

Sounds like you are running out of turbo if you are loosing power in the upper RPM's and not gaining any power by upping the boost. It is probably spinning faster but producing the same HP and more heat.

Just fo fun I'd try a .96 housing just to see what it does... if you can borrow one so it doesnt cost you anything.

I'd like to do that but housings cost $300 for my turbo.. damn R trim. So i'm just going to wait it out and save the money to put towards a turbo.
