Default 370ci, T88 .96 AR T6 Flange T56 tranny

will have 3.42 gears.

i've tried looking for compressor maps but cant find any online.

What RPM' do you think this will hit full boost at?

motor will be fully forged. if indeed there is alot of lag, i could always change the housing for it to spool faster, correct?

I was leaning towards a t4 flange, but my builder thinks that the bigger exhaust housing will aid in reducing backpressure and cut down on cylinder temps, detonation etc.

any thoughts?

http://forcedinductions.com/consumption370.htm

this is your best friend right now!!!!!

its stated that it shouldn't be used as 100% representation, however, i have seen that the calculations are pretty close...

the top numbers are PSI and pressure ratio versus RPM on the left. The grided numbers are your lbs/min factors...

easy, just pick a boost, match it at your selected psi/pr... and see where that lies on the compression map. That site as has info on tips on reading the map..

good luck!!

S88's rule.....problem is we can't build them fast enough or get parts fast enough...lol. We are getting our own covers done though, so that will take care of the problem for the future.

hmm...if i'm reading the map correctly for a 370ci and the t88, i'll be at 11psi at 4300rpms in the 78% range.

so is that 11psi full boost? i'd be at full boost 11psi at 4300rpms.

hmm... i wonder how much HP 11psi will make on a 370ci w/ a t88. is there a chart to convert displacement/psi to HP?

well lets put it like this...... I made 842 rwhp at 17psi thru a Powerglide and a 12bolt.

About 600rwhp at around 11-12 psi for me....

was this on Meth??

i'll be seeing limited track time, but dont want a setup to where i can only highway race from a 70hit. I'd like to be able to go from 40mph, etc.

trying to have 800HP on pump gas for street driving, then turn the boost up for those special occasions.
