Default Mecham TA production stats?

I just bought the 98 #4 Mecham TA and have been looking for any production numbers. I remember reading somewhere a while back about how many were built for the different years but cant find anything through a search. I would like to find out all of the info I can about the car, the second owner I bought the car from said it was factory ordered from Mecham design and performance with a 383, carbon fiber drive shaft, roll bar ect. It would be great to get some documentation on the car. It now has a 422 stroker with AFR 225s, a Fast 90 combo ect. It only has 33K on the odometer now and still shows like a new car.

Any help will be greatly apreciated!

beautiful car. does it have the 6 port heat extractor hood or the 4 port hood?
it has a big wing but not quite a bird bath.
i like the 97 spoilers they had.
they might be the same but that one looks different like not quite as big.
also my friend owns a bucnh of mecham cars. just not any 4 th gens. he has a 78 that is car 202 of 202 made that year and is 1 of 8 with a 400 and a turbo on top. and he has a 82 mse and it has 35 k on it. and he has a 84 that is 1 of 5 that came with a 406 chevy and a doug nash 5 speed.

ps have fun but try not to wreck it or cut it to shreads.
i might want to buy it in 15 years lol

edit dennis might still have the the documenation.
might want to get it before it gets hard to come by.

edit again it might be even rarer cause of the color.

They changed the hood to the newer design, I think I like the newer design better.

Thanks for the complements and replys!

There are two different styles made by Mecham, the early style that you can no longer get and the newer style that is based on the WS6.

Default 83 MSE Ta

I had number 43 a number of years ago, and now I found number 66. It's in decent shape and complete. Starting a full resto and it should be a monster when done.
