Default Rhino Ramps?

Anyone else have a set of these? I've had mine for a few months now, and they are pretty nice. Really light, easy to lug around. The only thing that gets me, is seeing them physically bend and flex when I get my car up on them I know they're rated to like 8000 pounds, but that still kind of freaks me out every time I get under them and happen to glance over.

I use mine all the time for oil changes. I haven't had the oppurtunity
to watch them flex because I just drive on to them by myself.

Yeah, what I'm saying is that once I'm on them, I can see that they've visibly flexed and distorted a bit under the load.

Maybe I'm just paranoid of laying under a car sitting on plastic blocks

Mine don't flex or distort at all...I've put F-bodies, Hondas, Nissans on them. They're solid and straight. Could it be that yours are cracked somewhere underneath?

I know what you mean. Mine also flex. Just make sure your on a flat surface. And I always put a jack or stand under there too, just to be safe.

Haven't seen any cracks. They've done that since I brought them home from Autozone.

Yeah I've had these for a couple years and love them. Had my car lifted up on the front end with an engine hoist and the back supported by these.

Been using the black Rhino Ramps for about 7-8 years now. Never flexed, never cracked, works great (even in 100+ degree weather ).

How long have you had them..any chance you could exchange them. I honestly never seen mine distort or look flexed while the front of my car is sitting on them. Maybe you could get some pics next time with your car on them?

I have used them for awhile. Still alive to your dismay. Actually, it is kind of neat that plastic can do that. Guess that those gusset like structures in there hold it together.

Mine flex a little. Assuming the garage slab is straight, it makes me a bit nervous too. They have done that since the day I bought them, the first time I rolled it up.

I have the black ones here but I have the bigger, higher rated ones in Dallas.

They do make me nervous but they were brand new.
I chock up both wheels and slide a stand under the proper location on each side anyhow just to be safe.

Maybe I'll just go get the bigger ones.

Sounds like it's somewhat normal. When I say flex, I don't mean they look like they're going to buckle or anything. You can just look and tell there's a load on them. Not even sure if it would show up in a pic. Might even be in my head.

No, it will distort. Even the heads on steel bolts distort when you torque them down. On some level all things do this if you can see it or not!
