I detailed the car, just put one coat of wax on it after all of the prep work. We didn't have any sunlight so I had to take lousy garage lighting pictures and I couldn't hold the camera still enough for the life of me. At least we got rid of the swirls even under the garage lighting.

Hard to see from the pictures but I can see a reflection of stuff 700 feet away in the paint. The black came out very deep and warm looking. It's a soft glow which makes it look a little more wet than the sharp crisp look that some products offer.

Don Don Don... I tested on Mike's car cause it's little and I don't want to detail and entire truck to find out the stuff wasn't any good.

I am taking a day off this week to do my Dad's car, then this Saturday I planned on doing your truck at your house; if need be, inside your garage. I have a few people that want me to do their cars for $$$ so I am trying to take care of the "guys" first.

This saturday, and I'm sure you'll like the truck even though you have the expression of a rock. :jest:

Danno - Yes, just run of the mill NXT stuff with Meguiars prep. It's gonna be hard to top that shine/depth, in the sun it's gonna glow warm.

Damn boy! Someone got a case of the shakes? Need to get a tripod!

nah not the shakes. if i took the pictures in regular mode they would come out way too dark. i had to use the night mode option, i had my foot on the ground (kneeling down) and the camera resting on my knee, using one finger to press the button and the other hand to plant the camera without moving. the exposure takes 3-5 seconds so i guess anything can mess the shot up. there was prob some "anti shake" feature i had to turn on.

standing around normally i do have the shakes pretty bad though.....bastard :)

I tried the NXT stuff after buffing the car this summer - I couldn't believe how well it made the SOM pop. Don, you will love the truck when it's done :D
