Eastern Members - GMHTP Shootout

Hello All,

Don't post much on this site but need some info. Who all was invited to the GMHTP Shootout at E-Town Monday, October 30th? I was just wondering who my competition is and if I am the only girl? Does anyone know how many cars were invited?

We were invited but the exhaust set up on the car is to loud for Etown so we are not going to participate

Good luck getting it back together. My turd was apart almost all season but it is now back together and at the risk of breaking anything, it is staying on the trailer until Monday. :judge:

Its a pointless shootout. Dont know why they are even doing it. Bad timing and cant have loud exhaust at Etown. That mag is going down hill quick.

I wish they would have picked another date. Why have it on a Monday?

I'm not sure. I know they were supposed to have LT1's vs LS1's but the LT1's were dropping like flies so they needed to invite more LS1's. That's how I got in. E-mail the magazine and see what they can do. I'll be there with my new shop (Nitemare Motorsports out of Frederick, MD). He is bringing his Camaro. You still owe me a soda. :chug: :)

Hey Pete, Chad has his 3 person crew so unless you get the invite, you have to find another car that's coming and try to get in with them.

Not that anyone cares, but I got the engine dropped and drilled the block for the inserts and installed them and got my heads back on and torqued down.Now I just have to put it all back together by sunday. No sleep for me the rest of the week :jest:

I care! I'm glad to hear you are 2 steps closer to making it to the Shootout. Make sure you come over and say hello. I will have a red T/A and my shop will have a black Camaro and the odds are I will be the only girl racing. :)

thanks for the words of incouragement guys. I need all the motivation I can get to try to stay awake. Between work and home and working on the car I'm not getting much sleep at all.I'm off to my garage :bang:

Engine is in,installed pushrods and rockers and valve cover,K-member is lined up and installed,crossmember is up,driveshaft is in. Now I'm going to sleep for 2 hours and off to work then come home and go right back at it :bang:
