replacing sail panel/b-pillar

replacing sail panel/b-pillar after doing my ttop conversion ive notices there is a small gap between the b-pillar and the ttops, now i have found a new pillar on ebay and was wondering how id go about replacing it, i know its a pain to get off but then i just glue it back on right? The pillar ive found is made for ttops so there shouldnt be a gap.
