Default boost-a-pump question

which boost-a-pump is better the kenne bell or msd? a lot of people are telling me to get one just dont know which one is better.

The KB unit was probably or deffinitely the innovator and they took the time to really do in depth research on the performance of various popular fuel pumps. For that reason I think its a wise choice.
The MSD unit is very capable and I have long supported their products. It looks good, is adjustable and they provide excellent support for their products.

Its a toss up, but as KB is a much smaller company they no doubt know their product more intimately.

I'm running the MSD unit. My setup is D1SC at 7psi on stock motor w/cam, Racetronix intank, 60lb Motrons. Seems OK.

The MSD unit has the boost switch built into it, where as the KB has an external so you can have it where you want it.

i have the kb one rated at 40amps(peek) and am running twin pumps at 17volts with no problems. i dont think the msd will handle twin pumps so thats why i went with the kb.

KB here with a single Racetronix intank.. retuning in a week or two. Im sure it will be just fine.

I have a 255lph walbro in tank and want to use a KB with either 55lb RC Eng or 60lb motrons... How much HP will I be good for?? I"m going to upgrade to a dual intank also eventually but just wanted to know...Thanks
