Default Need some advice quick...racing a friend tomorrow

Im racing my neighbors 02 mustang GT tomorrow at the drag strip. He has, medium cams, they make .550 lift, lt headers, off road x-pipe, flowmasters, accufab TB, intake, and is on 245 street tires. he runs a best of 13.1, but consistently pulls 13.3's. Also his car is untuned! Its pretty cold tonight, prolly around 65-75 degrees and is supposed to be cold tomorrow too.

I have a 98 z28 A4. I have removed my back seats, removed my spare tire and jack, slp loudmouth, and slp lid with k&n air filter. The first time i ran i pulled a 13.5 with a 2.1 60' foot with the stock 16's and bald falkens. I slapped on 17" chrome SS 10 spokes with 275's all around and nitto dr's out back. I ran a 13.89 with a 2.03 60' foot. so the bigger wheels/tires actually hurt me. so should i run my 17's with now somewhat balding nitto's in the back and stock 16's up front? or would that no help? i plan on revving it to about 1400 and trying not to spin. any input would help, i want to win!

Loosen the front sway bar, and crank the front tire pressure to about 45 psi. and take a large crap, you'll beat him.

Lose the 17s... The extra traction you may get from the 17 isn't worth the extra rotating mass..

well my rear stockers are bald as ****, so i just put the stockers on the front and left my 10 spokes on the back. i know he wont get traction so i thats where i figure i have the advantage with the nittos. any other launch tips would be good.

take off the front sway bar & air up the front tires as said before. I would run the 16" tires if you still have them. If you have trouble hooking-my car runs better times with a full tank rather than the < 1/4 tank that everybody recomends. But I am M6 also. Main thing is driver mod, don't get nervous and go out there a tree the *****. It's hard to play catch-up when you are down 65 cu in. (mustang).
