Im going to be PCSing to Hawaii next Oct07 and was wondering if theres any where I can run my SS or should i just move on and let it go even if it is my baby. People say I should sell it before i leave but I really dont want to. I guess Im just looking for a f-club if theres one on the islands. Thanks for the help!

I should be there around June/July next year. That's if the wife doesn't want to go back to the east coast.

Dont get rid of that hotrod. Do a google search for Hawaiian Island Camaro's and Pearl Harbor Fbody Association.

I was stationed on Oahu for 14 (1990-2004) years and I can assure you the F-body community is alive and kicking. I envy you....I would go back in a heartbeat. Luckily I have family in Milliani.

Superferry is coming next year so you and your car can ride a boat over to Maui and run.

I agree with Fratsit tho, FBodys are alive and well here.

Yep, lots of hot rods out there and a great Camaro club. Unfortunately, they closed the race track this last year :(

Thats too bad. There is way too much street racing going on out there. Oahu needs a 1/4 mile track.

Hawaiin Island Camaros does a July 4th cruise that is really spectacular. There are some super nice 1st gens out there. Friendly folks, too.

are they pretty strict on emissions. Would a Head/cam car be able to make it?

LOL....

Emmissions in Hawaii?? You are good to go. Of course there are the federal laws, however no state emission testing. With some mods you may have to get a Recon sticker...lowering your car, ect.

The Trade Winds carry everything away.
