Right now the car is getting a 1.63 60'. Looking for a 1.53. Will I get it?
2001 formula, A4, Vig. 3600, all bolt-ons (no headers), all traction stuff and M/T tires. Car runs 12.20 @ 110 at sea level.

i went from 3.23's in a 10 bolt to 3.90's in a 9" and didnt gain a thing. Obviously it takes a little more power to turn the 9" so i may of lost some there. Switching gears may help your 60 some but a tenth in the 60ft might be pushing it. Thats just my personal experience.

m6 car, going from a 3.73 12 bolt to a 4.11 did'nt help me at all. but when i added the 12 bolt w/3.73's over my stocker i did gain .1 tenth.

i gained a tenth with my 4.10's, and that was spinning the **** out of the tires, so who knows..

i say it depneds on how much power you are making and the weight of the car.
