AFR heads: don't know how much milled
I purchased online a pair of used AFR heads. It has been over 2 months and I am just getting around to setting them up. The first thing I noticed was a restamp on the end making a 6 out of a 5 and something wrong with the looks of the 3 in the number 1630. Then looking further I noticed a difference in the thickness of the head so I measured the thickness using a machined bolt recess and came up with one head being about .090 thinner.
Could anyone tell me a stock measurment on these heads to determine how much are milled?
Also I am going to cc the heads to determine what the chamber & runner volumes are. If I had noticed this before I would have sent them back but there is nothing I can do about it now. Thanks in advance. Ken
