Default noob question....kinda

Several questions. its kinda a toss between whether to put this here or the nitrous section so mods move it if need be. thanks. now for the questions.

1)whats the difference between a nitrous cam and a regular cam?
2)How would a nitrous cam affect my horsepower over say an x1 cam.
3)Say i were to use spray would adjusting the timing on a non nitrous cam affect my overall maximum horsepower potential?

thanks

usually nitrous cams are on wide lsas and have more duration on the exhaust side to help evacuate the extra cylinder pressure.the only reason to get a nitrous cam is if you are spraying around a 200 shot or more.
