Got the AFR 225's today (Is this normal?)

Default Got the AFR 225's today (Is this normal?)

As you can see in the picture there are strange cracks or grooves in the casting it self where the lifters bolts go. Is this normal? Would it affect the rigidity of the heads under high boost (18psi+)? Otherwise everything looks sweet and smooth.

I must be blind or lookin in the wrong places as i see nothing. That doesnt mean there isnt anything it just means i need a arrow pointing at something as i dont see what ur refering to. I know where ur sayin they are supposed to be but nada. Lol GL

Ditto- don't see anything wrong with those heads.. Post new pic's with arrows so we can see if something is really wrong..

If you are talking about these "scratches" mine were like that, I think its just machining marks where that pad was machined flat...

Yes those are going to cause you nothing but problems! Best to get rid of them. I take them off your hands.

your best bet is to send them to me and let me try em out and make sure they're safe and ok to use.
