msd 2 step & ignition hey i am looking into doing a 2 step module on my m6 z28 2000. i want to do it with line lock too. has anyone done this sucessfully??? if so i would like to see some sort of wiring diagram. i am tired of getting to the line and not knowing exactly what rpm i am at when i launch and i would like to become more consistant!
another ? is that how will a msd ignition work with the computer??? something like a digital 6 or a 6al

stock ignition is more than enough for what you are pushing.. dont waste time with the MSD boxes.. you wont see anything by using them.. I have used them in the past and my cars showed a slightly better idle, for about a month... then all the problems start, hard starting, detonation, ect.
pulled the MSD off.. car ran awesome.. I have owned 6 camaro's 2 of which I used the boxes and blaster coils... not worth it at all.

the msd ls1 ignition controller has abuilt in 2 step, it is mainly to control, the ignition on a carburated ls1, but it can also be used to control spark and use the 2 step on a efi ls1 in conjuction with the stock pcm, as for use with n20
