Default Worried!!! Duals with no H or X = 1 side sounds way different!

Thats right, they didn't have time to put an H-pipe in my system so each side is totally independant. My driver side sounds good....normal RPM sound and deep. The passenger side sounds weird. It sounds faster and higher pitch. You can hear it over the driver side b/c it has the high pitch.

I'm going to Autozone now to see if I have a new code. My SES is on from !cats, !EGR and !AIR.

you know my ford pickup is the exact same way. I got new exhaust on it and the drivers side is loud and raw sounding and the pass side is nice and deep. I have the same mufflers on both sides. I honestly think it's because of the differant bends in the pipes. Are you running cats? what kind of mufflers do you have? Maybe you blew part of your cats apart.

No, I gutted the cats. The passenger side is shorter/more free flowing. You can feel the air comming out harder too. I was thinking leaks maybe, but I fixed all of them...its completely leak free.

I got a video clip of it. Its dark but you can sorta see what side is what. Its hard to hear the driver side b/c the passenger side is gay.

Why don't you just have a shop weld in a X or H pipe?? Better Flow. Better Power. Better Sound. Problem Solved.

I know that. They didn't have time and the car was their four days already. They are slow and busy. My car was bumped up ahead of a lot of ppl too.

I obvously had some codes. 5 total. 3 are EGR and AIR related. Po405, P0410, P4016.

Now I'm worried about this one: P0135 Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 1. Now thats the driver side front one right?

Other one is: P0157 Circuit low voltage Bank 2 sensor 2.

That's the passenger side post-cat O2 sensor.

kind of a stupid question, but did they install the passenger side muffler backwards? this is what it sounds like to me.

^^^ Nope, they never touched my mufflers the second time it when in the shop. I know they were put in the right way too.

What I need is to get some O2 sims!

You need to have an X or H thrown in whenever you get a chance. It sounds hella weird due to the firing order and only hearing 4 cylinders out of each pipe.

I had an H pipe in the other set up. I want another H pipe for the sound that it supposely has, but I don't think it will be enough to fix that sound. I'll probably go with an X pipe if I can fit it.

So whats up with your one video that says "True Duals = 1 chamber flowmasters, H-pipe, hi flow cats." Did you change exhaust setups or what? That setup in your vids sounds badass.

the reason one side sounds different is because the pulses arent balanced out like with h and x pipes. my ex roomates jeep did that too, the 2 sides sounded completely different (302 with 3/4 cam and some other goodies).

The ebay headers kick ***! Best thing I ever bought for the car.

Yes Jakson, I changed them up again. I had the cats on, but the whole system was draging the ground. I got it redone and gutted the cats since they got messed up. The shells are still there, but fakes. It sounds A LOT louder!! It sounds really nice driving and WOT is insanely cool. It has that true Flowmaster sound now...at least the driver side does. Yea the passenger side sounds like a diesel till you rev it
