They are 2 different animals.
VIC Jr. is a high rpm setup, single plane says it all. It can benefit from porting. Best setup is either top carb or top TB (Elbows tend to skew flow caracteristics.
The Fast is like a fine tuned LS6.

The only way i would use VIC Jr. is on a track only car. That intake shines above 6500rpm Vs the FAST.
The VIC Jr. would make medium range trq sluggish.(as I said Single plane)

truth of the matter is no one has done any test to prove or disprove anything check out the thread:https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-induction/605899-reason-switching-carb-intake.html
BUT most of the really big dogs are running the Vic.
there are as many opinons as there are builders.
the people with the vics are not seeing any slugishness at all.

i've been thinking about possibly going with a Vic/carb setup and wondering the same thing. my combo will be a T-rex cam, stage 1 ls6 or stage 2.5 heads (depending on funds), th350 with brake, 8" converter, 4.30 gears & 28" Hoosier QTP's with a race weight of around 2800 lbs spinning to 7000rpm roughly. i know this may seem like a no brainer, but i also want to do a little driving with the car and concerened with not having efi especially if it's 90*F+. any input if a vic with yield significanly better results vs the FAST intake? if nothing else, the vic is certainly eye candy vs ANY composite intake!
