Default The Twins for my GTO!

Well after doing some research of my own and talking with various turbo nuts I have come to a final decision for turbos in my car.
For those that don't know the car is being sent to Stenod in Michigan to have some custom fabrication and various other things done.

Setup:
408 iron block with Callies crank built by Erik Koenig (9.0:1 comp)
EDC custom cam - 7500RPMs
10pt roll cage
ET 240cc Heads
Big Stuff 3
HUGE Fuel system - 160# injectors
Stenod custom TT setup
Moser 9" SRA conversion (3.50 Gears)
TH400 Transbrake 4400stall
minitubs
and much much more

These are the turbos that Harlan was going to run, but decided not too, so now I will give thme a good home!

Precision
4202R's

Ball bearing units, water cooled CHRA's.
74mm wheels at the inlet.
T4 style hot side, 1.01 A/R

Precision rates them at 1100HP each.

You're gonna have to re-name the car from a Goat to a Ram after that setup!

Sounds like an awesome build, wish you luck.

Why such a big A/R on the turbine side for twins? I wonder when spool will happen?

They are GT42R's

1.01 is the smallest A/R you can get.

We'll know pretty well how they spool next week, taking a similar turbo/motor combo to the track.

I was thinking that because a 1.01 A/R on a single turbo doesnt spool until about 3800, i think.

The smaller turbine housings gave us back pressure issues on our 390ci motor.
We ended up with the 1.28 and it still could be raced off a foot brake.
