yeah, that guy in the other thread said he saw their products in person and sat in them and he is sold. I think the fiberglass look is very modern and different looking. I could maybe even paint some trim to match?

That was me so my obvious vote is for the second set...

With that said, Foose just put a similar set (the Cobra seats) in a 1964 Malibu so I doubt it is too modern for our cars ...

FYI, here's a comparison of the seats you are posting and the seats he put in the Malibu:

MAD RACING SEATS, $275 for the PAIR:

COBRA SEATS, $1599 for the PAIR:

I know they come with universal brackets, but what type of modifications would I have to do to make them fit?

thanks!

Question.

I've seen plenty of those e-bay seats for under 200/pair. I am not going to spring for them because I feel that they are probably of poor design and probably even safety standards. I know Sparco, MOMO, Corbeau and all of those sell for a high price, but you're paying for race tested and inspired safety.

Where do the Mad Racing seats fit in?

Besides the COBRA name

The COBRA seats are leather with a suede insert, I believe the others are cloth and leather... With the $1300 in savings you can get them recovered in monkey vagina if you want...
