Manual Transmission - New Clutch & Hydraulic System...Won't Go Into Gear

In the past two days, I have pretty much replaced everything in the clutch system. I replaced the master, the slave, the clutch w/ a stock Z06 setup including flywheel, new pilot bearing, new throwout bearing, etc etc etc...

Tranny has been filled w/ Mobil 1 ATF fluid and when the car is off will shift in and out of gear fine. Clutch feels fine after bleeding as well. However, it will not shift into gear smoothly. Its a pretty good effort to shift it.

I have tried the Mighty Vac method, the GM TSB bleeding method, the old fashioned slave bleeding under the car method, and nothing fixes this. I have replaced everything and it still won't shift smoothly.

Am I missing something?

Is this for all gears, moving or not, and how much play is at the top of the pedal? What master and slave did you put in?

All gears moving or not. No play at top of pedal. Stock 01-02 master and slave. I'm pretty sure I need about another 1/2" of pedl to pushit far enough to let me shift. I notice that when I force the pedal down as far as i can it goes in a little easier. So I think I just need either an adjustable master or somethin, hell I don't know.

Or I am told that the engagement of the clutch rises as the clutch is broken in. Is that right? If it is I can try and deal with it and see what happens as it breaks in.
