Default cam installed and tune, do i need to drill the TB? Video

Here is the video of it idling after the tune. It still doesn't idle very well when I first start it. Since I had the tune done would I maybe still need to drill the TB? It seems to be fine for the most part when it's warmed up. Or is this normal for a cam? VIDEO

that's actually not bad at all imo. it hunts for idel for a few seconds. DO NOT drill your tb, ever! take your tb off and open the set screw 1/2 turn. then reset the tps. that should help.

Just wondering, why shouldn't you drill a throttle body?

if you drill it you will always have that volume of air going in. if you change the set screw you can close it a little if you need.

I drilled mine a bit before the tune and idled better. Now after the tune you cant tell a difference. I guess it was a perfect combination...

Drilling a hole in the TB is a stopgap. A good tune should not require this. I don't have any holes in mine and it starts and runs like a top. Hot or cold it starts and purrs.

Drilling a throttlebody is for people that don't know how to tune.

So I guess the GM engineers don't know how to tune since they put a hole in the throttle body plate.
