Default Ati Procharger 7 Psi

HELLO ALL,

CAN SOME ONE TELL IF AN INCREASE OF 89 HORSE POWER IS A GOOD INCREASE. I HAD MY UNIT INSTALLED AT BLOOD ENTERPRIZE IN AUBURN WASHINGTON. THEY DYNO MY CAR BEFORE AND IT WAS @ 279 HORSE POWER. AFTER COMPLETED INSTALLATION MY CAR JUMPED TO 357.8 HORSE POWER. THIS WAS DOWN ON MY 2002 SS CAMARO WITH A LS1 MOTOR WITH FACTORY HEADERS HIGH FLOW CAT'S FROM THE FACTORY AND 3 INCH EXHAUST TO A DUAL 2 1/2 INCH PIPES ON A HIGH FLOW MUFFLER. IS THAT THE BEST I CAN SEE WITH OUT MORE MOTOR WORK?

Mine picked up 150-165rwhp with 7.5-8psi. So i say your results are very low.

Hard to say like everybody else.I'm guessing it wasn't tuned and it probly has air leaks in the system.

We normally see an increase of 140 rwhp on my Mustang Chassis Dyno as an average, with 8 psi of boost. This is with headers and exhaust, but if your car was on a DynoJet I would say that would even it out, as the Mustang dynos will show 40 or so less horsepower, due to the eddy current.
We had a bone stock C6 Corvette that went from 323 rwhp to 470 rwhp with 7 psi of ATI ProCharger P-1SC boost. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=30 Bob

You need to find someone that is familar with LS1 tuning check the tune for you. The air/fuel at wide open throttle needs to be around 11.5/1, and timing in the 18 degree range. Have to check for spark knock, as if any is present it will pull timing from the engine.
Check in the tuning section for recommendations for around your area as to where you can get it tuned. Bob
