all the aftermarket cams are 6k+. 6500 is safe still. if u have a problem spinnin that high, then something closer to a 220 or 224 might be better

You will hit peak long before that 7500. I know you are wanting this:

I see all.....

Do it. A traditional split cam will be a decent daily driver. I vote you send money now. I like the F13-14 cams.

But what part of a cam is efficient?

Is your car a Auto or 6 Speed?
All these BIG CAMS with high lift and duration you have to go to 6000 to 6500 to get them to perform even the 405 HP ZO6 LS6 Vette motors. Good luck.

Hi Function>Form,

If for any reason you look for a camshaft and a valve event that is absolutely great for a DD with a lot of torque, a wide torque curve and a strong pic of power around 6400rpm for the performance side (carrying the curve to 6900rpm easy) with certainly the maximum admissible overlap without any kind of surging when cruising at 1100 rpm or stuck in traffic, also still friendly manners and reasonnable mileage and not requiring to flycut your piston's head I have a :

228/230 .639-.592 @ 112 LSA +0 ... int LSK lobe / exh XE-R lobe to sell with his cam card from THUNDER

Let me know
Christian

PS: sorry for the long sentence, wanted to make it as accurate as possible

the Z06 didn't make 405 to the ground. they made closer to 370 if i remember right, and they also benifit from better heads.

If you don't want to spin past 6000, don't get a cam that peaks past 6000. Get one for high torque that peaks around 5900. I'm not as god as Predator or Patrick, but I would assume (following the trend I've noticed) that a 224/228 on a 108+2 would be pretty stout and meet your goals.

i searched google and came across where a guy put down 401/376 to the wheels with just lid/lt's/TD's.

and he didnt make power to 4500...

with ported tb,ls6 intake mani and good tuning would that help me see the cam make power earlier in the pull...

I'm definatlely not a cam expert...but if you had them make the lsa like...10+2 or somthing..that should make it kick in earlier...

I'm in the same situation...trying to make an f14 a little "torquier"..

I don't know if the lift would affect the tourqe much...in a good way..?

Is not it about Vave Events more than restrictively LSA??

in this case it seems that he wants an IVC between 42° and 44° at 0.050...
just take a look at the complete geometry and architecture if you want something fitting your desires.

I daily drive the F14 in my Z06 every day. The cam peaked around 6600 rpms in my Z06 with Dart heads. I made 452 rwhp and 423 rwtq with the setup. It is not a bad cam to daily drive just make sure the tune is done well. The drivability of the cam all lies in the tune.

i know of a F14 cut on 114 (plus 4 i think) that is in a bolt-on car only and a good HP tune made peak power at 6400 rpm, 3800 stall, and 3.73 gears. the guy daily drives his car about 30 miles a day in the city and loves it.
