12 Second Club - Made it to the 12s!!!

Well i made it into the 12s on the second run of the night! My first run was a 13.03 and it just got better every run from there. It was my first time on DRs so i definately have some more to learn as far as launching. My best time of the night was a 12.60 @ 114.7mph. I know i can get a lot deeper in the 12s if i can just get my 60' down. My best 60' of the night was a freakin' 2.17 :bang: . I couldnt manage to get a good burnout and then couldn't figure out what rpm to launch from. :eyes: So i definately need a little more practice at launching but it was only my 2nd time to run the 1/4 mile and my first time to use drag radials. I'm hoping for a 12.3 or better next time out!

Go brent glad to see you got it in the 12s...LOL same night i did. Congrats on the time, the 60 foot will come down need a little more track prep but it was a good night air wise!

i agree with you on the cool air!!! My times just kept getting better and better as the night went on! i'm sure the track prep would help but i know i need practice on my launches! :bang:

yup me too. Got in the 12's on my first run along with Brent, Will and Rusty.... pretty good bull huh guys? Lets see who gets in the 11's first.... Muahahahahaha

What did you run Jerry? I know Brent did 12.6, i did 12.8, Rusty did 12.9...?

I'm ready to get a new clutch in it and see what i can get with the heads/cam/intake!

i ran a 12.72 @ 112.73, i saw your 12.8 run, man you were flying!!
