Default Reasonable price on a used(500m) T70

Its a masterpower T-70** with a .68 exhaust...it has 500 miles on it. Do you think 450 is a reasonable offer for this turbo or is it worth more?..also..where could I get a .96 A/R housing for this turbo if I were to buy it.

so is it a 70 or 76? I think the 70s could be bought for mid to upper $500s a while back..

I paid $525 I believe in the spring for mine... offer $450 and see what he says... $500 wouldn't be a bad deal though.

From my own personal expierience, you can use a Garret exhaust housing on MP turbos, but you cannot use MP housings on Garrett turbos...

I tried doing the exact same thing and it would not fit. There was some clearance issues on the turbine wheel to housing... I guess YMMV.

I never had a problem running any exhaust housing on a MP turbo (just had to make sure it was a P-trim housing) but I guess if they had problems .......

Either way $450 is a good price. You can check turbomustangs.com and ebay for exhaust housings (found one for my old set-up for $50 shipped on ebay). I would ask why the guy is selling it and try and make sure it's in good shape before any money changes hands.

Good luck!!

Correct... you'll most likely want an on-center with v-band exit.

I'm running a MPT70 w/ .96housing - worked great. I'm switching to 6.0 manifolds from stock ones.

Contact Jose at ForcedInductions he can get the housing you need.

I Think you ment TANG. with V-band. However I have a half PT* half custom setup. I have their headers and cross over all the way to the sway bar. Then from there the turbo goes up to the batteries location instead of the front of the engine.
