Default Thump / Thud from Rear End during turns

Just like the subject says, when I take a right turn or left turn, I hear a faint thumping "thud-thud-thud-thud" coming from the rear. Mostly from the passenger-side. It almost sounds like the rear tires are hitting the sturdy plastic mud-flaps, but I highly doubt they are.

Any idea what it could be?

The 2001 WS6 has no suspension work, with the stock 275s filled to 30PSI.

you could either have a bushing going out in your PHB or your LCA's.....also you could have a issue with your diff.

Thanks for your help. What's the easiest way to troubleshoot each?

you can lift the car and put it in neutral and turn the driveshaft...youll be able to tell if theres any noise coming from the diff....bushings are a little harder to tell if there bad....your car isnt tilted to one side is it?....and youve also made sure your spare is tight?..and the vats module isnt clanking against the frame?....the ws6 has the upgraded shocks so i wouldnt suspect a problem there....and you can get a pair of LCA's and a PHB for under 200 bucks together....

It may be time to change the oil in the rear diff and add some posi trac additive to it. You could be hearing the posi lock and unlock.
