Default What Cam?

I have a 66 elcomino. i am dropping a crate ls1 in it and a t 56. I plan on going with 3.50's in the rear end. The car is going to be a daily driver. The cam oviously cant be big but if someone can recomend something i would realy apreciate it. Thanks.

i went with the ls6 cam and thats very mild. its 550 lift with 218 / 204 duration. no lope sound, you can't even tell theres a cam (don't forget better valve springs if your above 525 lift!). i'm conservative. i wish i would have chosen lunatis cam 558 lift, 221/ 221 duration. still not radical. also i have a A4 . this cam should make good power up to 6000 rpm . i'm not a high winder, i use to own pontiac, 5000 was danger! good luck with your selection.

what are you going to be doing with the car other than daily driving it? Are you looking for power/torque? You will get a lil' lope with anything over 5° overlap.
